Kyra joined Girls Inc of Long Island seeking a way to gain confidence and learn to use her voice. Through continued participation, even loved ones noticed her growing outspokenness and confidence. Kyra even stepped out of her comfort zone and traveled all the way to St. Louis, Missouri to present the group advocacy project that she worked on with her newfound friends from Girls Inc. of Long Island.
